In the presence of Patrice Cellario, Minister of the Interior, and Marie-Claude Beaud, Director of the New National Museum of Monaco, the new permanent workshop – “The Studio” – has just been officially presented by its designers, Adrien Gadet and Benjamin Lina of Studio Quetzal.

Designed primarily for students and young audiences, this workshop, which makes extensive use of new technologies – screens, video projector, digital milling machine and so on – is built of cork and glass: it is inspired by archaeological sites, because is conceived as a place for research and experimentation and will allow students to perform work related to various NMNM exhibitions.

Winners of the Van Cleef & Arpels Grand Prix at the first edition of the Design Parade in Toulon, Studio Quetzal members have collaborated with Villa Noailles and the Georges Pompidou Center in various architectural workshops.

Note that places are still available for the “Portrait” workshops from July 15 to 19 (7-9 years and 10-12 years) and “Footprints of plants” from July 23 to 26 (10-12 years). Information, rates and registration: public@nmnm.mc or +377 98 98 49 38
