Monaco and the Kingdom of Cambodia have officially established diplomatic relations through the signing on July 11, 2019, of a Joint Communiqué.
The document was signed by HE Mr. Christophe Steiner, Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco, and HE Mr Widhya Chem, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The ceremony took place in the Monegasque Chancellery in Paris, in the presence of diplomats from both Embassies.
At the end of the signing, the two Ambassadors spoke about the prospects of developing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. The commitment of the two countries to sustainable development and in particular to the protection of the oceans was also mentioned.
