The Italian launch of the 2020 Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters took place at the Palazzo Guireconsulti in Milan on Wednesday, October 23.

Zeljko Franulovic, Tournament Director, told the Italian press that the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters – the first European tournament in the prestigious ATP Masters 1000 series – will take place from April 11 to 19 on the famous clay court of the Monte-Carlo Country Club.

“I have been watching with great interest the good results being made in Italian tennis, led by Fabio Fognini and Matteo Berrettini. Since our last Tournament, Matteo has had an excellent season, with a semi-finalist place at the US Open, not to mention the burgeoning young Italian talent Jannik Sinner,” Zeljko Franulovic said.

The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters is a very popular event with the Italian public. The draw for the rounds will take place on Friday, April 10, 2020, in the presence of Fabio Fognini, winner of the tournament in 2019.

It is advisable to book as soon as possible to enjoy the best seats still available, the organisers say. Indeed, the first weekend of the Tournament will take place during the Easter holidays. Reservations at the official website (www.rolexmontecarlomasters.mc).
