As part of their eighteenth-century music tour, Cecilia Bartoli and the Musicians of Prince of Monaco gave a sold-out concert, under the musical direction of Maestro Gianluca Capuano, at the Berlin Philharmonic on Monday, November 25.

About fifty guests from the Monaco Embassy in Germany gave an ovation to the singer and the orchestra, who performed some of the most beautiful operatic repertoires of the eighteenth century. Subsequently, a reception was offered by the Monaco Embassy, ​​which included Jean-Louis Grinda, Director of the Monte-Carlo Opera, Barbara Zumbaum, Honorary Consul of Monaco in Potsdam, the head of the Protocol of the Land of Berlin, the Apostolic Nuncio, as well as ambassadors accredited to Germany.

HE Mrs Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Ambassador of Monaco in Germany, said that “for more than a century, the Principality of Monaco has participated in the writing of the most illustrious pages in the history of art and music, and today represents a burgeoning place of creation and expression. Tonight, thanks to the talent of Cécilia Bartoli and the Musicians of Prince-Monaco, the Principality radiates radiantly into the world of music.”

The ensemble Cecilia Bartoli and the Musicians of Prince of Monaco was created in 2016 at the Opera of Monte Carlo on the initiative of Cecilia Bartoli with the support of Jean-Louis Grinda, Director of the Opera and with the support of HSH the Sovereign Prince and HRH the Princess of Hanover.
