One of Monaco’s most important charities, Action Innocence Monaco, held its annual Christmas Tree auction at the Hotel de Paris on Wednesday, December 11.

Nick Danziger, Vice-President of Action Innocence Monaco, said: “Participants at the auction dug deep in to their pockets for the eclectic range of Xmas trees, including Prince Albert II – we made a record 200,000-plus euros which will allow us not only to continue our activities in all of Monaco’s schools, but will allow us to continue our awareness sessions in schools across the PACA region and beyond and further bolster our awareness and anti-bullying campaigns.”

A choir of children from the International School of Monaco sang Christmas carols before the auction, one of the highlights of the festive season.

Action Innocence Monaco fights to protect children from the dangers of the Internet, including cyber-bullying, sexting, gaming, and the dangers of impersonators, sexual predators and pornography.
