HE Frédéric Labarrère has presented his credentials to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
The official ceremony took place in Berlin on Tuesday January 7, 2020, in the salons of the Château de Bellevue, the President’s official residence.
In a private interview following the ceremony, the German President praised the commitment of HSH the Sovereign Prince to protect the environment, especially the oceans. He noted significant convergence with the actions of the German government in this area.
The Ambassador expressed his wish to continue and promote the strengthening of cooperation between the Principality of Monaco and the Federal Republic of Germany.
HE Frédéric Labarrère is the sixth Ambassador of Monaco to Germany.
