The Minister of State and members of the Government visited the premises of the Association for Victims of Crimes (AVIP) to hear about the work it does.

The Association was created in 2014 to help prevent violence against the person, and aims to help the victims of violence, whether conjugal, psychological, sexual or otherwise.

Thanks to the support of the Prince’s Government, AVIP has the power to act in support of victims, guiding them through the first administrative and judicial procedures, informing them of their rights and the means to assert them, helping them psychologically and, in practical terms, be present during the filing of complaints and criminal hearings.

In 2019, there were 64 victims in care, 33 of whom were victims of domestic violence.
