A new case of coronavirus was confirmed in Monaco on Friday, taking the total to 12.

The Government has also announced the closure of all parks and public spaces, including gardens and the shoreline, with immediate effect. In announcing the new restrictions, the Monaco Government reminded us that no journeys should be made outside the confines of the home except for essential needs, such as food shopping.

On the list of permitted exclusions from the order are essential business trips which cannot be postponed, health reasons, to provide assistance to the vulnerable, childcare, and for individual physical exercise for short periods.

The Government also called on everyone to observe the rules for the benefit of us all.
