The Government will buy all the reusable face masks being produced by Bettina, the Monaco company that has been authorised to supply the French armed forces, the joint monitoring committee – including members of the elected National Council as well as Government ministers – heard on Wednesday, April 15.

The company’s output is 80,000 masks per month. The workforce numbers 80 people. The firm’s normal production is top-end knitwear for French fashion houses.

Bettina was established by Bettina Graziani, a top Parisian model in the 40s, 50s, and 60s. Born in 1925, Bettina died in Paris in 2015.
