Air France intends to gradually resume many of its flights by the end of June, “subject to the lifting of travel restrictions,” according to a press release published on Monday.
The company will gradually increase the number of frequencies and destinations, in particular in metropolitan France, overseas and Europe. Air France is currently operating two flights a day between Paris and Nice.
“The flight program will represent approximately 15 percent of the capacity normally deployed during this period and will be provided by 75 aircraft from the Air France fleet, which includes 224 aircraft,” the airline said.
Air France has been meeting between three and five percent of its usual capacity and has continued serving 43 destinations, to maintain “a link to key destinations, in Europe and abroad, both for the transport of passengers and goods,” Air France said.
