Monaco-based International Andromeda Shipping has ordered two plus one MR tankers from the South Korean shipyard Hyundai Maipo, according to the trade press.
Delivery of the 51,000 dot medium range tankers is due in the middle of 2021, at a price of $35 million each.
Andromeda has recently taken delivery of the first of two bigger tankers from Daehan. Each is 113,700 dot and costs $49 million. Both vessels are controlled by a joint venture between Andromeda and the Swiss trader Gunvor. Both have been chartered to Clearlake on a seven-year deal.
