The coronavirus situation remains more or less stable in the neighbouring Alpes-Maritimes on Tuesday, when the latest weekly report by ARS Paca was published.

Eighty-nine people were hospitalised with the infection, compared to 99 a week earlier, a fall of 10. The figure on Sunday was 87. Three people in the Department are in intensive care.

The death toll remains steady at 248, not having changed since June 4. According to Public Health France, the infection rate in the Alpes-Maritimes is 0.3 percent, strongly suggesting that the loosening of lockdown has not provoked a second wave.

There have been no new cases of coronavirus in Monaco for almost three weeks.
