Novak Djokovic, Monaco resident and the men’s world number one tennis player, has tested positive for coronavirus, he said in a statement on Tuesday. He has shown no symptoms of the disease, his staff said.

Croatia’s Borna Coric, Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria – himself a Monaco resident and the 100th person to test positive in Monaco since the start of the outbreak – and Viktor Troicki have also tested positive after playing the Adria Tour exhibition tournament in Zadar last week, which Djokovic organised.

The players were photographed sitting together on benches during the tournament.
