Two new coronavirus were reported on Sunday following one new case on Saturday. Both individuals were infected outside the Principality and one of the two was admitted to hospital.

Five people are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital while eight are being treated at home under supervision.

Four more people had fully recovered on Sunday, taking the total to 113. Not all those represented in the total figures are resident in Monaco.

In the meantime, HSH Prince Albert has indicated that regulations concerning the wearing of face masks may be tightened in the days to come.

The UK authorities are reported to be considering imposing quarantine restrictions on travellers from France unless the country gets the rate of new infections moving in a better direction. According to The Times newspaper, France is on a list of countries being “closely monitored.”
