A 91 year-old resident who had been admitted to Princess Grace Hospital for treatment for a condition unrelated to coronavirus has died, the Government said in a press release on Friday afternoon.
On admission, the patient had tested positive for coronavirus.
The Government has expressed its condolences and support to the family of the deceased at this painful time.
The sad news means that the number of corona-related deaths of residents in the Principality now stands at two.
